Dr. Lucy Rudd, Lead Equine Veterinarian
Lucy joined the Med Equus team in July 2025 and brings a wealth of clinical and practical knowledge and expertise to aid in training new and existing clients alike either in person or via telemedicine.
Lucy graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2020 after which she conducted a 12 month rotating hospital internship at the Dubai Equine Hospital during which she developed a passion for sports medicine and poor performance.
Since returning to the UK in 2021, Lucy has worked in two clinic and ambulatory practices in North Wales and Cheshire, during which she completed a post graduate Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP) furthering her knowledge in sports medicine and poor performance.
Lucy is an FEI Official Veterinarian (OV) Level 2 meaning she can delegate at FEI events, and is part of the veterinary team supporting the youth British Dressage teams.
